SEAWAY GROUP purchase 100% of Wakefield Transport Group & Iron Horse Intermodal
SEAWAY and Wakefield Transport are pleased to announce the conclusion of a deal in which SEAWAY will take 100% ownership of Wakefield Transport Group & Iron Horse Intermodal. Founded in 1917, this year marks the 101st year anniversary of Wakefield Transport.
Seaway Logistics purchase majority share of ARL Logistics
The directors of Seaway Logistics and Wakefield Transport are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of a deal to purchase a majority share of the business and assets of ARL Logistics Pty Ltd. Established in 2011, ARL Logistics is a leading wharf transport company and cross dock facility located in Tottenham, VIC only 5km from Swanson Docks. The facility boasts 12,000 sqm of undercover warehouse, QAP (Quarantine Approved Premises) and has a 45 tonne reach stacker on site, ideal for handling large volume shipments.
Seaway Logistics wins the WISA Wine Industry Supplier of the Year Award for Export
Seaway Logistics has been awarded the 2014 WISA Wine Industry Supplier of the Year Award for Export. The award was in recognition of Seaway’s efforts in supplying logistics services to the wine industry and most particularly the bulk wine supply chain that involves the carriage of bulk wine in Sunraysia, all the way through to the bottling line in UK.
New rapid-chill facility at Wakefield Transport
WAKEFIELD Transport in Merbein is installing a $920,000 rapid-chill facility that will save Sunraysia citrus and table-grape growers $2 to $3 million a year from the cost of ensuring fruit exported to Asian markets is free of fruit fly.

Seaway Logistics purchase Intramar
The directors of Seaway Logistics are pleased to announce the purchase of the business and assets of Intramar. Established in 1981, Intramar is an Australian based, independent freight forwarder providing focused services in air-freight, sea-freight, customs clearance and project cargo services. Holding offices in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane, Intramar employed approximately 40 staff.

Seaway Logistics purchase Ex-Aus Freight Management
The directors of Seaway Logistics are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of a deal to purchase the business and assets of Ex-Aus Freight Management and EXM Pty Ltd (Ex-Aus). Established in 1993, Ex-Aus have established themselves as the leading freight forwarder in the sector of metal recycling and related industries. Ex-Aus currently have a staff of 10 people and have offices in both Melbourne and Auckland.
