Uphold high manufacturing standards as Authorised Officer. Multiple positions available to support exciting new business
SEAWAY are currently looking for multiple Authorised Officers to join our large Merbein Warehouse. These are newly created roles to support exciting business growth. Whether you are new to the industry or seeking a more hands on role, this could be the role for you!
You will be responsible for ensuring perishable products are inspected in line with government regulations to prepare them for export out of Australia. This is a vital position to our operations, that will involve training and accreditation, which will be provided to you, so a willingness to learn is a must.
You will be joining a team of 3 experienced Authorised Officers who will be there to support you and teach you so that you can perform this role autonomously and successfully. Teamwork is essential but being able to self-motivate and take a proactive approach to your tasks will also be required for success in this role.

ABOUT US
We operate our own rail, road and storage services across multiple locations, with a focus on regional areas, to offer end-to-end logistics solutions across our customers’ entire supply chain.
Our quality warehouse facilities offer a comprehensive range of container sea freight services. We exclusively own and operate 3 regional intermodal rail terminals in Warrnambool, Mildura and Emerald.
We offer comprehensive supply chain solutions including cold chain expertise, grain packing, 3PL and 4PL management, container packing, biosecurity services and rail and road wharf dispatch.

The Role
Your average day will include the following tasks:
- Conduct AO Inspections efficiently and effectively (Training & Accreditation will be required)
- Accurately prepare a variety of documentation within tight deadlines
- Ensure all inspection areas are kept clean as per protocols
- Regularly liaise with clients and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders
- Assist with the preparation of audits
- Understand and comply with all OH&S procedures and guidelines
- Work closely with your Manager and Supervisor to develop additional skills
About You
We are looking for candidates with the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Intermediate Computer literacy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instruction
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Reliable
- Safety focused
