We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Freight Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the smooth flow of our air freight operations!
The Role
As an Air Freight Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth clearance and movement of air freight entries, with a particular focus on perishable commodities. You will be responsible for coordinating operational activities, responding to client inquiries, tracking shipments, and ensuring customer requirements are met.

The Role
As an Air Freight Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth clearance and movement of air freight entries, with a particular focus on perishable commodities. You will be responsible for coordinating operational activities, responding to client inquiries, tracking shipments, and ensuring customer requirements are met.
Basic responsibilities of this role will include:
- Coordinate operational activities by communicating with clients, carriers, and overseas agents.
- Liaise with shippers to prepare and process all necessary documentation, such as shipment files, security declarations, and AWBs (Air Waybills).
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure cargo bookings and relevant information are received promptly.
- Coordinate with runners/couriers for the timely delivery of documents to government bodies.
- Customer Service
- Management of telephone & email enquiries
Our successful candidate will possess the following skills & attributes:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in export air operations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimum to no supervision and act quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Assertive and proactive approach to tasks
- Expert knowledge of ICS & Cargowise One
- Experience handling perishable shipments
