Export Operations - Perishable

The Opportunity 

Due to increased volumes in our Export Seafreight department, we’ve identified an exciting new opportunity for a talented, proactive and dynamic Perishable Operator. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team environment and has experience with increased seasonal volumes.

This role is available in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, working directly with a range of perishable commodities, in a tight knit team. It will be filled by someone who is experienced in Export Operations, and has a passion for the Logistics industry.

Your Role Your average day will include the following:

  • Coordinate the entire end to end Export Seafreight Perishable process
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, transport and warehousing providers and overseas agencies
  • Liaising with operational teams to ensure smooth handling of shipments, ensuring any service issues are actioned and resolved
  • Accurate invoice generation
  • Database management and administration
  • End to end management of export documentation
  • Raising RFP’s and liaising with DAWR to clear shipments

What are we looking for?  Our Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics Operations with experience in the perishable sector preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain or International Trade
  • Knowledge of Cold Treatment preferrable
  • Cargowise One and Edisoft experience are preferred but not essential
