J/V full project management, Offshore cargo pre-measure/check & load/lash/securing consultation, Charter vessel for barge – vessel lift + port to vessel lift, logistical planning. Oversize transport permits & full load/unload, lash & secure + survey & delivery through to mine Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

SEAWAY’s Role:

Concept to completion
Lift / load / lash / secure & survey
Offshore site inspections and check measures & planning meetings
Charter vessel arrangements
Liaison with harbor master and NON-First port entry authority for approval
Wharf transfer, transport on port, lifts to lay down, wharf/site hire and complete discharge
Planning / permits / re-lift, lash &^secure for transport through to site including cargo +6.5 height, +6.5mtrs wide loads.‍

Highlights:

Successful planning & permission of +6.5mtrs height / +6.5mtrs wide cargo loads & multiple permit/route amendments throughout the project.

Challenges:

Managing weights (Some light gauge however extremely oversize) + dimensions / dimension amendments last minute construction changes.
Covid 19 planning throughout concept, construction, planning, shipping and travel during this time international and AU cross border.

‍Unique Safety Considerations:

Approval from quarantine for non-first port entry
Lashing study and supports to ensure me would meet transport/power restrictions and amendments from design phase to completion. Civil roadworks on route.
